Buckeye Care Transit is a family-owned Non-Emergency Medical Transportation and Non-Medical Transportation business founded in 2016. The owners of Buckeye Care have over 20 years of experience in Healthcare and Transportation with a clear understanding of industry best practices. At Buckeye Care, we strive to provide quality care and treat every customer as a member of our own family.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation



Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is a form of transportation that transports individuals to and from their medical appointments. Most individuals receive this transportation through their health insurance, mostly Medicaid and Medicare.



Non-Medical Transportation



Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) is a form of transportation that transports individuals with disabilities to and from their employment, day programs, and volunteer work experience. To provide this service, a referral needs to be placed by the Department Of Developmental Disabilities Services and Support Administrator outlining the service type and funding sources typically through Medicaid waiver or County Board funds.
